The Bristol Story Trail ran for two sunny weeks in February 2015 and, using a series of QR codes left throughout Bristol, connected sites across the city to 16 original short fictions from 12 contributing authors. With over 100 people taking part in the trail, the city was immersed in a fantasy world, creating magic in places which were previously unnoticed and forging a host of new memories.
The QR tags will remain within the city until they are, with time, removed and covered, leaving behind only traces of narratives.
The Bristol Story Trail was a part of an ongoing research project into storytelling and the city brought to you by Dream of a Shadow, an online project bridging the gap between reality and fantasy.
